Social Health Check-In Challenge

I came into 2020 (like most other people) with a list of goals, expectations, and hopes for the year - and just like everyone else's lists... it went right out the window somewhere around March. I launched my own business as a SAHM, got pregnant, and faced a few health challenges along the way, all while experiencing the glorious turbulence 2020 had to offer. Our family has faced business challenges, personal wins and losses, and more transitions that I can count off the top of my head; nothing that many of our friends and family have not faced themselves. PTL (praise the lord) that it is almost over, right?!

In the spirit of authenticity, as I always tend to say on these blog posts - this has been a hard year. One of the things that I feel like is keeping me sane these days is simply making lists. I have been working on my own self awareness and keeping track of my habits on a daily basis - but one of the things that has remained a constant in my daily life is list-making. I've always been a list person. I use grocery lists, to-do lists, laundry lists, my list of lists could go on forever.

So earlier in the year, I began thinking about what was and wasn't working for my own personal social health during this crazy time. The researcher in me landed on a few questions that really resonated, that I naturally turned into a list - and thus, the Social Health Check-In was born. I began sharing this list with clients for their own personal use, but also in coaching sessions to help track their progress. In light of the holidays and end of the year coming up, I thought I'd share it with anyone who was interested, as a sort of "early Christmas/survive the crazy holiday season" gift.

I have broken the list of questions up into 7 daily emails with a brief coaching on each question + some challenge/journaling activities for anyone that subscribes. At the end of the challenge, you'll receive the full list as a PDF for you to keep! To sign up, fill out the form below or visit the "Challenge Sign-Up" tab at the top of my website and fill out the form there. It is as simple as that!

Please check it out, share it on social media, with friends and family, and let me know your thoughts!

And as always, happy connecting, friends!

Social Health + The Heart

Loneliness. We have all felt it at some point in our lives. Many of us might be experiencing it currently. In fact, one quick Google search revealed several links filled with 50+ caption ideas titled

"So no one told me life was gonna be this way..."

Can I get an AMEN here, people? Not only are we experiencing just a weird whirlwind of life right now, but it somehow just keeps getting weirder. One constant that has remained a blessing for me throu
